Dicken Lane,shibden halifax

a very wet walk this morning which included walking on dicken lane shibden
an odd name but on researching charles dickens did visit halifax to give a reading of a christmas carol in 1858 maybe a little remembrance to that or the fact his wife did live in halifax for 3 years as did her family ,the hogarths .
