No Picnic

A fairly grim drive down to Suffolk today!
¾ of the journey was in driving rain, with many flooded patches of road, and spray to contend with. We correctly guessed that our usual lunch stop pub would not be an option, so we packed a few snacks and a couple of flasks. We stopped off in Thetford Forest by which time it had just about stopped, but it was too soggy to avail ourselves of these lovely picnic tables.
The cottage is not our usual one as it was unavailable but it is very close by. After settling in, we had a lovely evening walk across the heath.
