Rhubarb flowers!!

These should never be allowed to grow at all, and certainly not to this size!! But they appeared today - quite difficult to see as the rhubarb patch is now about two square yards in size and we usually just harvest from the outside and never see what is happening in the middle. We must be a bit more observant in the future!
However the rhubarb and date tasted good for our supper!
