Border Wall
Our friends decided to fly out of San Diego so we spent the day (seven and a half hours) in a rental car driving from Puerto Peñasco to San Diego. This obviously meant crossing the U.S./Mexico border, which we did at Los Algodones, the most northern town in Mexico, which is also known as Molar City because of the huge number of dental clinics. This was the spot where we picked our friends up two days ago, but this trip we were continuing on to San Diego for their flight home and to give us a couple days to see our daughter. This is a view of the infamous border wall, shot from the car, as we were waiting in line for the hour needed to cross. It was smooth sailing both before and after the crossing, except the rental car did not have cruise control.
