Connection

This week's challenge was "connection" which is a great challenge because it leaves so much room for interpretation.  I decided to try a portrait of my daughter with the tools she used to stay connected during the pandemic with her friends and family.

I actually used some directed light to get the effect I wanted.  It is not perfect - and my model was tired of it pretty soon in - but it was fun - and she had fun and I had a nice entry for the challenge.

They pick a "winner" every week - and this week's will surely be the new-born.  My husband calls it the puppy affect - put one in your photo and it will win every time.
