Autumn reflections

Lovely along the river this morning. The rest of the day has been a bit grey and overcast. Sleepy Sunday punctuated by teenager’s very tense, very agro soccer game. Why are some teams so difficult? Two yellow cards, one red card, much foul play and racially abusing the referee. And the parents were abusive on the sideline! The return game next week is going to be very unpleasant, I think. We were genuinely happy our kids got off the field in one piece - although the teenager was on the receiving end of a punch in the Kidney’s that floored him for a bit. Cross fingers for nothing worse to happen next week.
