There's no business

5 hours up the A1 into driving snow I made it to my parents' house just after midnight. Obviously it was all intentional as it meant I arrived on Mother's Day!

I'm currently at a dress rehearsal at the theatre where I first did anything other than dance school shows. It's also the theatre where I first made forays back into musical theatre after nor doing anything for 15 years while I concentrated on sport. The group is sadly fading as its members are obviously aging and unfortunately they are not being replaced with younger stock.

It still feels like my stage. They were down a soloist today for a song I know well. I nearly walked on and started singing it and I certainly wouldn't do that anywhere else.

My phone isn't coping with the stage lights very well so instead you have a quick snap from the dressing room.
