Early and peaceful

It wasn’t raining first thing, so I headed to Fradley Pool.

Just me and the birds. (And a couple of friendly dogs and walkers.)

The trees were lush and gorgeous and the wildflowers made it feel very special. The birds were enthusiastic as I sprinkled some seed in the usual places. Still no sign of the kingfisher. 

The rain which was on its way has still not reached us and I even had an hour in the garden, reading in the sunshine.
