If You Want To Get Ahead.....

We met Tom and Rachel at Bonds Lifestyle this morning.   Bonds is a large place a few miles out of Stratford selling a range of antiques, furniture, clothing, plants (fresh and dried) and specialist beers and cider.  There is also a very good cafe there.  We used to go fairly frequently B.C. as it is one of the few places that do a cappuccino to Ann's liking.

The cafe is still, of course, still only serving outside though they have constructed a lattice yurt plus added a couple of capsules to their outside tables in case of inclement weather.  The yurt even has a wood burning stove!

I'd booked a table in the yurt but we ended up at an outside table, luckily the weather has been very pleasant today so we spent a very nice time with our drinks and cake.

On leaving Ann and I popped into the shop....a first for both of us for quite a long time....and had a little explore.  The place is very spacious and we felt quite safe, wearing masks of course as were other customers and staff.  Along the way I spotted this queue of mannequins, I imagined them lined up at an airport, each with their hand luggage.

Later I went for a walk to Bishopton and back along the canal towpath.
