Holehird Gardens

We had intended to go to Rydal Hall for the open day with the NGS.  Sadly, we didn't leave home early enough to get parked anywhere near Rydal.  Instead,  headed over to Langdale for a walk along the River Brathay and lunch at Chesters, which was very tasty.

From there to Holehird Gardens and this is the view towards the central fells.  Very quiet there with only a few people visiting.
