In The Beginning…

This is what my backyard looks like. (small other corn er in extra). It’s pretty yucky as far as being anything close to ‘planned’ landscaping. But it’s never going to look like this again so I have to save the images for posterity. I’ve grown everything in there from a pup and all but two cactus, a beavertail prickly pear and an Argentine toothpick have survived. I loved the toothpick. I used it in two milestone blips: the last time for year three.

Saturday the transformation begins. I’ve hired a woman landscaper. She will be doing most of the work by herself so I expect this to take a while.
