Camping

After school today Cyclops and CyclopsJnr headed off to camp near Lauder, meeting friends at the site and trying out a new tent.

Just as we got the tent out a hail shower came through, and CyclopsJnr enjoyed eating handfuls of hail that accumulated on the still flat tent.  

We got all set up, our friends arrived, and we all had dinner together (outdoors with adults appropriately socially distanced).  

After dinner we had a big game of touch Rugby - 3 on 3 with slightly fluid teams.  The kids all seemed to really enjoy themselves.

As the evening wore on it started to get pretty chilly, so CyclopsJnr was happy to be snuggled up in is sleeping bag at bedtime.
