The Fat Seagull

At Sandilands has re-opened, I'm pleased to say. It's the only café between Sutton on Sea and Chapel Point.

T-Shirt weather today. Felt marvellous. We motored to the North Sea Observatory and were lucky to grab the last space in the car park. Similarly there were no tables on the terrace but we were able to find a bench overlooking the sea wall and the plant being used to pump sand on to the beach to create a shallow shelf intended to dissipate the strength of the North Sea waves.
