A white bluebell or a whitebell?
A wonderful walk in the woods today and the best display of bluebells I’ve ever seen and the fragrance was amazing.
The kids thought it was hilarious when we came across a white bluebell. A quick google told me that- “Very occasionally, within a population of bluebells, a genetic mutation may occur, which results in a white flowered bluebell. It is estimated that the proportion of blue to white flowered bluebells is 10,000 : 1.” So this was quite a find!
