Immigrants.
Lovely few hours spent bimbling around the marina and the waterfront with our daughter, so nice to see her.
This is a wonderful sculpture by a guy called Neil Hadlock commemorating over 2 million immigrants that passed through Hull and caught a train to Liverpool before continuing on to America, between 1836 and 1914. The building in the background is "The Deep" aquarium.
Talking of travelling we ended up discussing the possibility of going to Iceland for daughters birthday later in the year. Would be great if we can as it's been on our bucket list for a while.
Hope you've all had a good day.
