Carpet of blossom

Planned to go for a walk at Dalkeith country park, but stopped at the garden centre first and took advantage of our free drinks and cakes. Looking for some bamboo to act as screening in our garden, but nothing suitable. A sudden downpour as we were leaving, so gave our walk a miss and went home instead.
Baked a lemon drizzle cake in the afternoon.
Had news of a new great-nephew's arrival. It'll be an easy birthday to remember as he shares it with our grandson who is three today.
