After and Before - Derwenthaugh Coke Works

My photo shows the after and this link shows what the area was like just before it closed in the 1980's.  It is now know as Derwenthaugh Country Park but was formerly Derwenthaugh Coke Works and part of the NCB.  

The transformation is amazing.  It is now a lovely place to walk.  In the past I have seen deer and red kites and on today's walk, a field of cowslips.
