chop chop

Mother's day today so breakfast in bed for +1/2 (and only woken at 7-ish by the troops!) of bacon, eggs, bagels and coffee (I guess that should be cwaffee), homemade cards, a bit of a fuss, a lie in and then a visit from my parents.

It was time for +3/3 to have his first haircut and today was the day. He actually seemed okay with it but as usual the quality isn't the best; I'm not very good at cutting hair! At least the hair is out of his eyes now...

It's been snowing all day; not solidly but heavy snow showers. +1/2 did tell me it was going to but really... it's supposed to be spring!

Time to make the risotto, feed +1/2 the mother's day G&T and get ready for next week.
