Christie's Brae

After a surprise visit from the Sutherlands of Stromness we are now eating our way through Mary Rendall’s Clootie Dumpling.  This raised my energy level so I went and removed light fittings from the Shack ceiling.  Usual Monday morning routine for my Mum’s messages etc and it was good to get an update from the Community Nurse.

Earlier we went for a walk around Innertown; we met Gill and had a good update.

More preparation for Friends of Hoy Kirk meeting on Friday.  No spoilers but we think the block vote of the Melnikov Permafrost Institute (Yakutsk) and the Weeders' Union of the Vladivostok Botanical Gardens should swing the motion proposing to purchase of a new tea urn.

CMC is wondering whether SeaSideS will be willing to pay for her to have lessons to walk backwards.
