The Woodland Garden (Friday 7th May 2021)

Blossom comes and goes so quickly that I thought I had better get blipped the various kinds in the Woodland Garden before they were gone - especially with our unpredictable weather patterns. In Extras is the blossom of my young bramley apple in a barrel in the patio, whilst my blip is of the crabapple blossom.

Little Simz - Introvert (2021)
Heard for the first time this day. Simbiatu 'Simbi' Abisola Abiola Ajikawo (27), of Nigerian origin, is a cut above other rappers in my opinion and this, from her next album, is her most ambitious work to date. The dancers in the video were filmed in the Natural History Museum, some of the music recorded at Abbey Road, and with guest vocals by Cleo Ros. The posh narration at the end is inexplicably by Emma Corrin (Lady Diana in The Crown).
