Evening viewing figures are up

The arrival of the cygnets has been eagerly anticipated for what seems like an eternity. Now that they have hatched visitor numbers look to rival those of Edinburgh Zoo.

I did not notice until I looked at this blip at home that the heron is as usual close at hand - bottom right hand of photo. The successful rearing of cygnets is a hazardous business.
