The Tay Railway Bridge

Traveling back from Aberdeen today in almost blizzard conditions. This is the approach to the Tay bridge with the stumps of the piers of the original bridge still visible above the water line. The original bridge collapsed in 1879 as a train was going over killing 90 people.
