Spring Beauty
A trip to Kings Lynn for B&Q was made more pleasing by combining it with a trip to the reserve and beach at Snettisham. On Beach Road I pulled over to take a pic of a bluebell field (extras) and came across a patch of what we have identified as Spring Beauty / Claytonia perfoliata. A new one to us but apparently widespread across the UK. So one for WildflowerWeek21_07, thank you for hosting Miranda. (Also a picture of them in situ in extras)
Very windy (extras) and a few showers but a beautiful day all the same. Not a good day for twitchers on the beach, too windy. Even the black head gulls were hunkered down (extras).
