More torrential down pours today again.
Cattle fed , then loaded up the 6 heifers, 2 dogs and headed off to the mart at St Boswells. Still a drop and go policy so grabbed my usual roll with sausage and black pudding from the canteen and headed back up the road.
Kev on mucking out and bedding duties again. Had to leave him to it and run Littlemiss into school for her pipe band lesson as Mrs F working from home , and waiting for the washing machine repair man to turn up .
The sun came out so went for a walk while waiting . Spotted this NHS postbox , then a saunter round Morningside Cemetery to kill time ( no pun intended).
Have never been to this grave yard before , and presumed that the vandals had been having a field day by the number of flattened head stones. That was until I saw a notice from the council saying that” in the interest of public safety, headstones that are found to be dangerous or unstable will be laid flat”
Still think it looks hellish and has no respect for the dead. But what would I know.
