Great Squirrel Robbery

I saw this today. A lone tulip deep in the woods. A red tulip growing from the forest floor like a weed. How did it get there? My best guess it was the result of a B&E or breaking and entering for you non-law enforcement types. The perp, likely a gray squirrel, robbed a local garden, or maybe several, and then during his getaway dropped the flower bulb. I suppose Officer E.A. Raven from the Neighborhood Watch Squad could have been on patrol that early morning and caught the gray bandit in the criminal act. Then, in his rush to escape and elude Officer Raven he tossed the evidence where it couldn’t be found or, at the very least, linked to him. It certainly is eye catching but I’ll never tell ;) • We had an enjoyable but busy day working in the yard, some weeding, and lawns mowed! • Here’s to a safe and peaceful week for all!
