Eryngium

It has been a fun day painting some dried eryngium.  The sun has shone and it has been warm but there has been a strong wind making sitting outside too chilly.
Tonight we should celebrate... it was the first day since last March where 0 deaths have been reported within 28 days of a positive Covid test in England, Scotland and Ireland.  Such good news and not a moment too soon.  I just hope those that have not had their vaccines yet take great care as the new removal of restrictions from next week include no masks in school for secondary schools, indoor gatherings in pubs and in homes, sleep overs in others houses and hugging to name a few.  They are all welcome but we must remain vigilant especially until we have had two vaccines.
The bird cam shows a very content little blue tit. sitting tight but I have noticed no visits from her partner. I hope he is ok.
