Goodbye marquees

This is the last week that we will be exercising in these faithful marquees that have withstood the winter and seen us through two periods of classes under strict covid restrictions. Today we did yoga (left tent) and spinning (right tent!) ! We also had a delicious scone & coffee outside on the terrace (extra).

Boris announced tonight that we are on track and next Monday will see exercise classes return indoors! So these marquees will be dismantled and car park spaces will be freed up. Many other things will open up too, such as cinemas, sauna & stream rooms, indoor hospitality etc. and we will be able to meet inside houses! You can even hug! It's all a little odd after 14 months.

And finally, what's with the weather? Deluges, glorious sunshine, huge hailstones, back to sunshine and so on. This has been the pattern for over a week, with snow & sleet thrown in for good measure. It's all a bit concerning.
