Not the clearest of the many photos I took before, during and after one of the short, sharp snow flurries, but the closest to how it felt. It was wonderful, but completely freezing!

For scale, because there weren't any anglers out there today for some reason, that gate on the breakwater is about 15 feet high or perhaps more (about 5 m).

wetter & wilder

Jeans just aren't up to this, so I've ordered some winter hiking trousers and a hat with (fake) furry earflaps for seaside blipping. If spring and summer start this week, you've got me to thank!

Note to self: when it's weather like this, only go out with other blippers, because we don't want grumblers or crosspatches, we only like smilers, don't we? Mentioning no names.
