Mississippi Madness

My mother made a massive Mississippi Mud Monster-cake for Mother's Day.

14 eaters got it down to this by some of them going for a bracing walk and having a second bit ( no-one could manage an actual slice), and also by taking chunks home for missing members of the family.

But this cake probably beats the family record for sheer scale.

It was very chocolate-y, very rich, rather sweet, but rather more-ish.
