Mothers' Day

Sunday March 10th, and having taken family out for a late lunch I am walking back at roughly 5pm and the light is fading and I am wondering what today's Blip photo will be, when I walk past this on Coronation Rd in Bristol...

...It's a floral tribute, the sort that folk place on a coffin at a funeral. The flowers are old and withered and their colours turning, and it's in a dustbin bag, and it says "MUM" (that which you see here are the letters spelling "-UM"); and it's out on the street waiting for the dustbin cart to collect it.

And today is Mothers' Day.
