Cuckoo!

After a dreadful weekends weather it was lovely to go for our walk and stay dry and feel warmer! We were early this morning so the world of nature was is full voice. The sound is so Beautiful and when you stand in the middle of it, it just surrounds you. The lakes have a community orchard and all the trees are in full blossom and as I stood enjoying the birds I heard my first cuckoo of the season! It never stops being exciting ( although the poor birds that gets the cuckoo eggs may not feel the same!) It was right near me but try as I might I could not see it! The deer, bunnies and a fox were out and green woodpecker to name just a few. It's such a privilege to be so close to this and starts the day with peace and joy. Happy Monday folks!
