The Tree

I reckon it would have been terribly wrong and inappropriate not to blip the famous tree when I visited Wanaka. Ive used my phone, as I won’t be loading my camera images until tomorrow. 
This morning the weather was slightly inclement, good cloudage and the landscape was quite atmospheric. 
But before photographing the tree I spent some time with our son and grandson which was just fabulous.  
Then I had a couple of hours doing photography before heading home ....  the colours are still stunning in this area and I really had a ball.  

My trip home was difficult, with strong winds and very heavy rain.  I got home just after 5 pm, almost dark, Doug had the fire roaring, he is a good lad.
We opted for takeaways for our evening meal. The kitchen wasn’t at all appealing as I was feeling rather wrecked...the last couple of days have been fun but full on.
