The Ice House, Dunraven Castle

We went to Dunraven Bay yesterday and had a look at the Grade II listed Ice House which is nearly all that is left of Dunraven Castle. The castle was built in 1802 by Thomas Wyndham. It had a long and varied history, and was sadly demolished in 1963. All that remains are the Ice House shown and  the walled garden which I will show in another Blip
