Reed Warbler #54

We went out early this morning to catch the best of the weather as forecast, and sure enough, by the time we were on our way back, the showers came earlier than expected and we took refuge under the new 6 lane bridge - quite handy as it turned out. The intention this morning was to try and capture one of the warblers, and the only ones we saw long enough for a shot were reed warblers, so that is todays blip. They are very noisy little birds, screeching endlessly and hiding in the reeds. We did see and hear some whitethroats, but they were not showing very well at all, so they will have to wait for another visit. 
This afternoon will either be a bit of gardening or some more Line of Duty I expect.
