It's stunning up North.

Mr. H has been wanting to show me this place for quite a while and I can see why. It's lovely, and today it was made even lovlier by some overnight snow. We had a smashing trudge up from Edale toewards Kinder Scout but were never going to get all the way up (needed to get back to watch the rugby). As such I'm dead-keen to get back up there and do the Scout this summer.

The weather today was brutal and gorgeous, a force-nine meant that out of the lee of the hills, the wind-chill was breathtaking. When you're bathed in sweat, that chills one very quickly indeed. Thank goodness for baselayers.

Liverpool have just beaten Spurs and I'm off to watch My Bloody Valentine tonight with Wayne and Jo.

All of this has made today a very good day.
