We travelled through to Queensferry under the Forth Bridge today to meet our friends John and Sandra for the first time since the Pandemic started.  They have been having a tough time as Sandra has developed dementia, but John looks after her so lovingly.

We met on the promenade at the bridge, and had a lovely lunch with them, which lasted for 3 hours.  It did John a lot of good I think to talk over the 'old days' when we were young in Canada, and Sandra managed to enter into the conversation at times.  

My main photo is of course of the Forth Bridge, which looks as iconic as ever.  I have put on a couple of extras too, one of Queensferry which is a lovely wee place, and one of us for old times sake.

It was a beautiful day, but we would have enjoyed it whatever the weather.
