Baltic

Went up the Walk to meet up with Susan and the lads for a late lunch/early dinner (after they'd watched the Hibees being robbed at Easter Rd); La Favorita makes good pizzas but the over-florid style of the waiters takes a bit of getting used to. (They still brandish over-sized black pepper grinders.)

We walked back and even in that short time the warming qualities of the piquant pizza had faded and it felt extremely cold. The fact that the weather-vane on the top of the old Corn Exchange is scarcely discernible from this angle means that the wind and hence the weather is coming directly from the north-east, so can genuinely be described as .....Baltic!
