‘The Heron, the Baby Coots and the Cygnets’

The baby coots (see blip of just a week ago, https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2836322388159759647 ) are no more to be seen anywhere.

Today’s picture shows one suspect - the heron - waiting patiently near the swans’ nest, as the swans and their cygnets take to the water again (second photo - love the cygnet riding piggyback!).
