Mum and chicks

Walked round Kilmardinny Loch to see if the swan was off her nest but she is still there. Saw one of the female mallards with four ducklings but I think she had more the other day. Also saw a rat in the shallows of the Loch, have seen a few recently, hope the ducklings have not become food for the rats :-(
