And So It Begins

Today is the first significant work towards our new house. An area of self seeded sycamore trees was in the way of drainage and septic tank access so they had to go. The tree surgeons took all day to remove the trees - see extra for scope.

We now have a large quantity of branches to make into dead hedging in the field, lots of logs, and some big trunks which we hope can be turned into table tops, shelves and maybe kitchen worktops.

We will be planting more suitable trees in due course.
