Staying connected

The landline phone, that rarely rings, has given up and won’t hold its charge. That’s the modern one that we can walk around with, but the old one keeps going. It has a load ring that the dog barks at and is very clear but once answered I am stuck with it.
Met up with some friends for coffee and croissant and spent a couple of hours chatting. So enjoyed seeing other people and being able to sit outside the coffee shop. The rain was heavy for a couple of hours in the afternoon and then it was nice again so went for a walk with daughter and the dogs. Ironed and sorted clothes for our holiday.
