Mini Miner

My favourite part of our 'garden' is an area of wild flowers and grasses near the front gate where my darling Jazzy dog used to wait for me. She's buried there and now Ollie dog waits in the same position on the rare occasions that I go out without taking her with me. It's on the south side of the hedge and I find bugs there that I don't notice elsewhere.

I found this tiny solitary bee, possibly a mini-miner, on barren brome, one of my favourite grasses.
