The Mournes - again!

We hadn't been to Newcastle for some time, just once since before Christmas. We thought we'd enjoy a walk along the promenade - and a coffee of course! It was a lovely morning, very blustery but not particularly cold. We stopped for a coffee, and were able to sit outside to enjoy it. There were severe fires recently over the Mournes, the photos of them burning on the mountain behind Newcastle were very dramatic. It was a bit hazy today, so the blackened hillside wasn't obvious, hopefully Mother Nature will help with the regeneration!
