Shade

Our outings take us in one of two directions: either to the new Cordata Park with its sunny trails and playground, or to the Whatcom Community College where we hug the buildings to find shade. Today was shade. I told my mom that on her birthday next Sunday we should meet up for some cake and a beer. Maybe this look was in response to that idea.
