Cottesloe Coastcare Volunteers

Had a chat to a great group of seniors this morning putting their  love and backs into replanting the local dunes and foreshore.
Val the leader of the group explained they initially removed all of the Victorian tea tree, then mulched and spread over the area. They used a mechanical auger (which was their own design) to dig the holes incorporating the mulch in the holes rather than adding the mulch later.
They have replanted with local endemic species.
Lucky I caught them just before smoko.
What a great team.
