Coco
It's always such a privilege to be able to be around these gentle native Australian animals. Coco is a real character; slurping down her milk and then selecting a few choice eucalyptus leaves to chew on.
Sadly, the shelter is going to be shutting down over the next year or so; I'm going to miss these little guys so much. The extras are of Coco with a eucalyptus moustache and little Kobie, the tiny wombat.
When I got home, I raced off to Bunnings to get some plants for the garden. I've planted spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, coriander, garlic, snow peas and carrots. It's good to have things in our veggie patch again.
Later still, we called MrB's parents, only to find that Muminlaw had a 'funny turn' this afternoon. The ambulance had been called. MrB raced over to make sure all was okay. Muminlaw has been taken to hospital for some tests. They suspect a mild stroke, so it's not an emergency, but still very worrying for all concerned. MrB has just left to take his dad in to see her and to check up on what's going on.
