Spiders
There are over 45,000 known species of spiders and scientists say there are likely twice that many that haven't been found.
Well this is a new one. A species that has given up being a carnivore and become an aquavore. So instead of catching insects these catch and eat water, specifically rain water.
The Royal Entomological Society has now cordoned off the entire hedge and surrounding areas. Special cameras have been set up to monitor the site and record any activity and identify the new species.
The ramifications of this trait becoming more widespread will have a huge impact on insect numbers.
