A Cake for Every Occasion

I made this.
I decorated this.
I hid this from everyone else yesterday.
I presented this to everyone after lunch today and they sang "Happy Mother's Day to you."

One by one this afternoon, they appeared in the living room where I was cosied up in the sofa in front of the fire with chocolatey faces and crumby hands because someone had facilitated the consumption of unauthorised seconds of MY CAKE.
