Airton the Narrowboat

We were up early and off to Skipton for eye appointments.  The good news is that our eyes are healthy but Tony needed new glasses which took him all of ten seconds to choose.

Heading towards home Tony dropped me off in Bingley and I walked along the canal in super sunshine, to meet dear friends in Roberts Park for a picnic.  I was early so picked up a feta and spinach pasty and a cuppa from the cafe and then I bagged a bench in the park.  Jean and Verity soon arrived, followed closely by Helen and we set up our picnic space with two chairs and the bench.  Much catching up and laughter ensued and it was really great to see them all again.  We are now booked in for a reunion brunch at the Stansfield in June!
