Feather

Lazily gliding in he landed on the post, totally saturated. Every feather needed attention, was carefully groomed and when the sun appeared briefly through the clouds I could see he loved basking getting dry. 

A youngster, very laid back and I think gorgeous fluffed up and preening. One of my favourite birds.
